IS-ENES contributes to the IPCC Data Distribution Centre hosting AR4 (CMIP3) and AR5 (CMIP5) Data

The IS-ENES partners BADC (within the Centre for Environmental Data Archival, CEDA) and DKRZ host part of the IPCC Data Distribution Centre (DDC). The DDC, in turn part of the ENES Data Infrastructure, provides climate, socio-economic and environmental data, both from the past and also in scenarios projected into the future. The DDC is designed primarily for climate change researchers, but materials contained on the site may also be of interest to educators, governmental and non-governmental organisations, and the general public.

As part of the IS-ENES services data search interfaces and field based data access as well as technical guidelines on the selection and use of different types of data and scenarios in research and assessment are also provided.
