ENVRIplus final event: Collaboration for the Impactful Science

Collaboration for the Impactful Science - European Environmental Research Infrastructures
ENVRIplus held its final event in Brussels to showcase the European environmental research infrastructures, discuss the ENVRIplus results and look ahead to the future of the ENVRI community.

The meeting took place at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Brussels, on 4 June and welcomed a number of interested stakeholders. The talks and structure targeted the following audiences: European and national decision-makers, the European Commission, national representatives in Brussels, European Environment Agency, ESA, EUMETSAT, IOC-GOOS, as well as GEO, Copernicus and other international organizations.

ENVRIplus is a Horizon 2020 project, launched in 2015, bringing together Environmental and Earth System Research Infrastructures, projects and networks with technical specialist partners to create a more coherent, interdisciplinary and interoperable cluster of Environmental Research Infrastructures across Europe.

IS-ENES the infrastructure of ENES, is a member of ENVRIplus and shares  (via its partners CNRS and DKRZ) technical and strategic expertise with the other Research Infrastructures by contributing to ENVRIplus Themes 2 (Data for Science) and 6 (Communication and Dissemination) as well as by having representatives in the Board of European Environmental Research Infrastructures (BEERI).
