Career building in atmospheric sciences for Early Career Scientists

The Atmospheric Sciences division of the European Geosciences Union jointly with the American Meteorological Society organizes a series of virtual interviews with presidents and outstanding scholars of both communities.
Ali Hoshyaripour, Representative of Early Career Scientists at EGU’s Atmospheric Sciences division addresses Early Career Scientists on the topic of career building in atmospheric sciences (see below).

 


 

Dear all,

Are you an Early Career Scientist in atmospheric sciences? Do you want to establish a career in this field? Do you have questions about career pathways, challenges and solutions?  
At the Atmospheric Sciences devision of European Geosciences Union (EGU_AS) we are organizing jointly with the American Meteorological Society (AMS) a series of virtual interviews with the presidents and outstanding scholars of both communities. The first interview is open now where the Early Career Scientists can ask the presidents of EGU_AS and AMS (Annica Ekman and Fred Carr, respectively) their questions related to career building in atmospheric sciences
Until September 30, you can post your questions as comments to the above post on Facebook or tweet your questions on Twitter using the hashtag . Alternatively you can email your questions to me. The answer to your questions will be published on EGU_AS and AMS websites as well as on the social media pages by the end of October.
