Aims

The workshop, titled "What do we know about multicentennial, multimillenial variability?", will bring together the paleo data and nonlinear geophysics communities, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the problems and limitations of paleo data, as well as the relevant nonlinear techniques, paradigms and frameworks.

Program

In order to enhance the pedagogical aspect, presenters will be asked to prepare short overviews in advance that would include key figures and ideas.

The workshop will have 30-50 participants and the workshop will be organized around case studies presented by experts; we aim at six one-hour tutorials on the paleo side and six on the nonlinear side. These will occupy most of the first two days.

There will also be time for posters and discussion. Although the number of particpants is limited, scientists can ask for an invitation.
