This workshop focused on sharing experiences and best practices regarding existing and new workflow methods and tools. It discussed the varied requirements e.g. of data oriented and process oriented workflows (e.g. data metadata vs. provenance metadata) not only of climate simulations, but also of seasonal to decadal predictions. General upgradability and readiness for future developments of existing and new approaches were also be topics.
